Privacy Policy
Effective July 24, 2026
The Grin Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a video production studio serving Orange County and Los Angeles, California. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a consultation, take our platform test, or contact us, we collect the details you choose to share: your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and the content of your messages or test answers.
Information collected automatically. This site does not set analytics or advertising cookies and does not run trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google receives the technical request data (such as your IP address) needed to deliver the font files.
2. How we use your information
- To send you the PDF guide you request after completing the platform test.
- To respond to consultation requests and other messages.
- To provide and manage our services if you become a client.
- To send occasional emails about our offering. You can opt out at any time, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To protect the site and comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us run the business, such as email delivery, scheduling, form processing, and website hosting. They may use your information only to provide those services to us.
- Legal authorities, if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- A successor business, if we are ever part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. This policy would continue to apply to your information.
4. Cookies and tracking signals
The site currently uses no analytics, advertising, or social media cookies. Because there is no tracking to switch off, browser “Do Not Track” signals do not change how the site behaves. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request where the law requires one. If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy first.
5. Your rights and choices
You may ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
- Delete your information.
- Stop sending you marketing email. The unsubscribe link in any of our emails does this instantly.
California residents may also exercise their rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the rights to know, delete, and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To make any request, email us at the address below. We will verify your request and respond within the time the law requires.
6. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above: for correspondence, as long as our conversation stays active plus a reasonable period; for client records, as long as the engagement and legal requirements demand; for marketing, until you unsubscribe.
7. Security
We use reasonable organizational and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we limit access to your information to the people and providers who need it.
8. Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. We review the policy at least once every 12 months.
